United Arab Emirates became the third Arab country that established the normal relations with Israel, after Jordan and Egypt. President Trump at the White House announced that the agreement would lead to greater cooperation on investment, tourism, security, technology, energy, and other sectors. This agreement also deals with one condition, where Israel should stop the annexation of West Bank territory. In his speech, Mr. Trump said, "I expect more Arab and Muslim countries will follow the United Arab Emirates lead."
In the Palestinian's side, however, they think this agreement was considered as "the black day in the history of Palestine," as Ahmad Majdalani - an executive committee of Palestine Liberation Organization - said. "This agreement is a total departure from the Arab consensus. The Palestinians did not authorized anyone to make concessions to Israel in exchange for anything," he added.
