Great news from Madrasah Aliyah Al Irtiqo' Malang, 11 graders’s student  Ainun Alfiana Nazuroh won second place in the final of MTRQ Qur'an Recitation Contest on May 1, 2021.

MTRQ (Musabaqah Tartilil Qur'an) was a quranic recitation contest which was held by Airlangga University's Student Executive Board on March 30, 2021. It was a quranic recitation contest which followed the Qiraat of Imam Ashim with Hafs riwayat. The assessments included tajweed, mahraj, pronunciation and tone. The MTRQ contest was Held in a month. Ainun expressed that her motivation to attend the contest was just to contribute for her school, MA Al Irtiqo' Malang. 

"Some other motivations came from my parent's support and for living up the name of my school. I dedicate all of my achievements for them. Because my school has given its best facilities to support me in studying and learning for reaching my dreams" said Ainun.

For the challenges she faced, she added "I did several mistakes during the filming of my video required by the judges, especially mistakes in tajweed (reading rules) and also the mahraj of the sounds, so I retook the video again and again"

Laelatun Nafisah, S. Akun as Ainun's quranic recitation mentor stated "Ainun is an enthusiast in absorbing the materials I have delivered, especially in tajweed. I am so glad and proud of her significant development since she studies from zero. In the boarding school of Al Irtiqo', every student is taught reciting Holy Qur'an in the most appropriate manners, furthermore they are taught tajweed and pronunciation sound by sound. As her teacher, I hope Ainun will be more enthusiast and spiritful in attending other similar contest and remember that no victory is gained without obstacles."

"In the future I will attend and try to win some similar contest and by winning them, I think it will help to live up the name of my school, MA Al Irtiqo." Ainun stated (Aput)
