The Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) NadiemMakarim on the virtual International Symposium Indonesian Students' Association (PPI Dunia) 2020 on Sunday, August 30, 2020, urge the students who have already finished their study abroad to come home. "Our homeland needs you all," he said. "Studying abroad is an opportunity to learn, experience, connect, and introduce our identity. Make the best of those time, then come back to our country as it would mean a lot. Each of your contribution would have a great impact on our nation".

Nadiem also stated that nowadays, the development of a country depends on the human resources, rather than natural resources like we all reckoned for years. Just relying upon work hard without work smart, Indonesia will not achieve the advancement we wish for. He added that he is proud of PPI as the biggest students' association abroad, and hopes that it would show the real contribution to this country.
