In Coca-Cola's newest feature, customers can make their own coke bottles. However, the feature has come under criticism from netizens on social media because Coca-Cola does not allow the phrases “Palestine” and “Black Lives Matter.”

Instead, they allow offensive phrases like “White Pride” and “Fascism.” Netizens shared their findings on Twitter.

Reported on the Middle East Monitor, Wednesday (30/6), one Twitter user named Rami Ismail who is a video game developer and founder of GameDev pointed out on the Coca-Cola America website, the word "Palestine" is blocked.

“Oh, and sorry @osamadorias, can't share Coca-Cola with you. Osama said forbidden. Including Mohammed is also prohibited. @CocaCola only banned the most common name on earth because you all don't think Arabs or Muslims exist," Ismail said on the @tha_rami account in a thread on Twitter.

“Oops! It looks like the name you requested was not approved," reads a message on the site. “Names may not be approved if they have the potential to offend another person, trademark or celebrity name. We have worked hard to improve this list.”

Previously, the Coca-Cola company had launched several commercial initiatives called Share A Coke to encourage customers to drink soda as a summer drink of choice. Another Twitter user, Laura Kate Dale pointed out that the site also blocks “Black Lives Matter” but allows “Blue Lives Matter” and “Nazis.”

“I kept doing it for a few minutes and there were many more offensive words going well,” said another user @NickTonyMack.

In response to the backlash, Coca-Cola said it was working on fixing and enhancing the feature. "We are constantly refining and improving our Share A Coke personalization tool to ensure it is used only for its intended purpose," the company said in a statement to Newsweek.
