All Regions of Indonesia Are In the Red Zone

The Covid-19 Task Force has announced the latest list of Covid-19 risk zoning. In this week there have been an additional 31 districts / cities that are now categorized as red zones, whereas as of June 20, 2021 there are only 29 areas that enter the high risk zone.

 

Based on data from the Task Force on Handling Covid-19, on Wednesday (6/30/2021) there were as many as 60 districts/cities that entered the red zone, while 308 orange or medium risk zones, 129 yellow or low risk zones, 16 green zone areas. Compared to the previous week, the moderate risk zone also increased from 293 areas to 309, as the yellow zone decreased from 166 to 129, and the green zone from 26 to 16.

 

In this spike in cases there are four provinces that contributed greatly, namely DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, and East Java.
