Nussa's film managed to get more than 100 thousand viewers on Sunday (24/10). News of this sale was announced after adding screens in theaters in Java island on Thursday (21/10).

"Thank you so much to the more than 100,000 friends who have watched Nussa's movie," wrote an Instagram account called @visinemaid.

This figure is a fairly good achievement because the capacity of the audience is limited in order to implement health protocols that greatly affect the number of spectators.

What's more, Nussa, which was released on October 14, has to compete with Hollywood and other films, such as Dune, Don't Breathe 2, Jungle Cruise, Halloween Kills, and The Medium.

Nussa is the first Indonesian film to be released in theaters after returning to operation during the PPKM period. This film, before airing in Indonesia, has been aired at bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival 2021.

Nussa then received a warm welcome from the audience when it aired in Indonesian cinemas. Tickets for this animated film sold out in a number of theaters in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi on the first day of screening.

Nussa is adapted from the animated series of the same name that aired on television. The series won best animated film (Short) Indonesian Film Festival 2019.

Nussa's film story focuses on a child character named Nussa who is voiced by actor Muzakki Ramdhan. He felt confused and angry ahead of an inter-school science match.

Nussa has been known as a child who took a high interest in science. He is also considered a smart child and a mainstay of his school related to science.
