Ramadan is coming soon. Muslims are obliged to fast for a whole month. According to the calculation of the reckoning conducted by Muhammadiyah, 1 Ramadan will fall on April 13, 2021. In this blessed month, Muslims around the world will perform fasting for 30 days.

The month of Ramadan is full of glory and blessings, in which are multiplied good deeds, prescribed great acts of worship, in the open doors of Heaven and closed the gates of Hell.

Therefore, this month is a valuable opportunity awaited by those who believe in Allah ta'ala and want to achieve His pleasure.

Because of the great virtue of this holy month, the Messenger of Allaah 'alaihi wa sallam always delivered good news to the companions radhiyallahu 'anhum of the coming of this blessed month.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Blessed ramadan has come, Allah has enjoined you to fast on it, the gates of Paradise are opened that month, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are shackled.

In that month there is a night better than a thousand months, and whoever is hindered by the good of that night has indeed been hindered."

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The fasting person will feel two joys: joy when breaking the fast and joy when he meets Allah ''.

Of course, the self-preparation referred to here is not by buying a variety of delicious food and drinks in the market for the preparation of sahur meal and revenge when breaking the fast.

Also not by following various television programs that are more destructive and neglectful of people than remembering Allah Ta'ala than the expected benefits, even if there is a benefit.

But the preparation referred to here is to prepare yourself born and inwardly to perform fasting and other great worships in the month of Ramadan as best as possible, namely with a sincere heart and the practice of worship in accordance with the instructions and sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah 'alaihi wa sallam
