The Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate

O God, I beseech Thee

let you take care of me

so that I am no longer against you

Really, I'm confused and scared

because of the multitude of sin and disobedience

equal to the abundance of your grace

and kindness

My tongue is numb because of my many sins

I have lost the authority of my face

Then with which face should I meet you

after sins make my face gloomy?

With which tongue shall I call upon thee

after immorality silenced my tongue?

Ya Allah,

How do I call you,

Even though I'm a sinner?

But, How can I not call you

Even though You are the Best Giver?

How I rejoice

Even though I'm a sinner?

But, How I grieve

Even though You are the Best Giver?

Ya Allah,

How do I call you,

Though I, me?

But, how could I not call you,

Though You, You?

How I rejoice

Even though I have been against you?

But, How I grieve

Even though I already know you?
