Tahfidz Al Qur'an is an individual attempt to memorize the Qur'an either through a particular teacher who memorizes the Qur'an, or through a special institution. In general, Muslims practice the tradition of memorizing by reading or seeing before, but there are also those who are purely just listening because of limitations in vision. Their ability and thoroughness in chanting the Kalamullah is arguably the same as other memorizers who have the perfection of vision. Even among them there are those who have the upper hand.

Ma'had Al Irtiqo' held this activity as his flagship program, with the support of Al Ustadz Eko Argityas Mahendra, M.Pd. for male ma’had and Al Ustadzah Laelatun Nafisah, S.Akun for female ma'had. The activities carried out in the process of tahfidz qur'an, including: deposit, muraja'ah, mudarasah, sima'an, tikraran, talaqqi, musyafahah, bin-nazar, and bil-gaib. In addition, the students are accustomed to accomplishedly recitation of the Qur'an every week. This noble tradition is mandatory to be maintained because it is a form of Islamic religious shia in Indonesia, and is a tradition fought for by scholars who seek to ground the Qur'an. (Ala’/Wiwil)
