Right on Friday, August 26^th, in commemoration of the National and Islamic Holidays for the first time, a performing art festival was held at MA Al Irtiqo’ IIBS Malang. The students were appointed to perform a variety of arts. Starting from dance, musical drama, stand-up comedy, and poetry musical. This show was broadcast live streaming via Youtube, Instagram and Zoom and was attended directly by the head of the madrasah MA Al Irtiqo’ IIBS Malang, Mr. Alamsyah.

The performing art festival - entitled Irtiqo' Opera - was held at 13.00 WIB. This event was hosted directly by two tachers of MA Al Irtiqo’ IIBS Malang, namely Mr. Ashori Yuti who also serves as the chief executive of the Irtiqo' Opera event and Mrs. Aathirah Dhia Azizah. "Standing on this stage, it's actually beyond my expectations. There hasn't been such a grand stage in Irtiqo' before today. Maybe this agenda can be carried out again in the future so that our students and students can show their hidden talents." The Head of the Madrasa said in his opening remarks.       

The first performance began with the beautiful chanting of chain poem performed by the 10th grade students of MIPA 2 and the agile movements of a combination of regional dance and modern music. Followed by the hilarious and ridiculous behavior of the 10th grade of MIPA 1 which brought the audience laughter through their comedy. Meanwhile, the third performance succeeded in bringing the audience to the struggle of November 10 through their drama entitled "Tearing the Red and White Blue Flag at the Yamato Hotel". The play is played epically by the 11th grade of MIPA 1. A special performance that the audience has been waiting for, the poem musical from the 12th grade of MIPA 1 which brings emotion through the poems of Khikam Zahidi's creation. In addition to showing the talents of the students of MA Al Irtiqo' IIBS Malang, the teachers also participated in showing their hidden talents. (Elva)
