Sir David Attenborough has signed off from Instagram exactly after 2 months since he started using it, leaving his 6.2 million followers out there. His spokesman for A Life on Our Planet film said that it (the account) was never meant to be a long-lasting one. Instead, it is intended “for a limited time period”. The primary aim was to warn the world including this Facebook-owned platform users about the danger terrorizing humans, especially in accordance to climate change.

In his first post that has been watched over more than 18 million times, he averred that the world is in trouble. He said, “Continents are on fire. Glaciers are melting. Coral reefs are dying. Fish are disappearing from our oceans. The list goes on and on.” As important as it is, he tried to reach people on Instagram to be aware of this phenomenon.

As there will not be any new other post anymore, the account will remain open for the people to watch Sir David Attenborough’s videos and posts, as well as read the captions and explanations that has been shared since the account was created.
