The Chief of Indonesian Industrial and Trade (Kadin) Rosan P. Roeslani appealed to employees to travel out of town or similar long journeys in this 2021 Lunar New Year celebration. The main reason is the increase of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia.
“We appealed to employees to postpone holiday travel due to the increased number of Covid-19 cases nowadays. We have been communicating with business associations to inform their companies and regional Industrial and Trade (Kadin)” said Rosan to CNN Indonesia Thursday (02/11).
This announcement imposes an employee’s family to be also obedient, “families may affect the transmission of Covid-19” he continued. Even if they were compelled to travel it required them to follow the health protocols applied.
The past 2020 Lunar New Year celebration was held during a pandemic, and since the global pandemic still spreads widely it is important to be safe and healthy. “We are unable to gather and watch firecrackers together but we can light it with our closest family”.
