University of Muhammadiyah Malang Student Held a Health Education Program

Five students from University of Muhammadiyah Malang conduct a community service called as PMM. This program is the substitution of Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) during pandemics. The Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM UMM) said that one of the advantages of this program is to practice with students while living in the community, especially in the low economies. 

In this 6th period, Fatma Inna with their four friends perform devotion at Nurul Abyadh orphanage located on Jl. Sigura-gura, Sumbersari, Lowokwaru, Malang City, Indonesia. The program they held such as; Clean and healthy living behavior, scabies and how to prevent, and sex education for teenager. 

“We do this program every Tuesday and Thursday evening, we share some health information to this orphanage about those issue since the majority people in this place is teenage girl” said Fatma

This program was held on June 15th and 17th in the main hall of Nurul Abyadh orphanage. Furthermore, this program is able to provide an understanding of health.
