In the Qur'an there is no word "Muntaqiim" (singular), but the word "Muntaqiimun" (plural) are found 3 times. Muntaqiim is Naqama, meaning "to refuse", "to oppose", to deny or to blame something. Ibn Faris said that Intaqam means "denying and opposing actions that end in retaliation".

Allah al-Muntaqim is the Almighty Dzat to punish His servants who are guilty of torture. He does not accept evil deeds, so he requites them with punishment. Muntaqiim is not interpreted as "revenge", because this meaning is impossible for God. Glory be to Him who has mercy on you, and has taken heed.

God's punishment for mankind is His promise. And the reward of the good and the righteous. For He is the All-powerful. "And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, that He may reward those who do evil for what they have done, and reward those who do well with the best of rewards."

Fear the Punishment of Allah

Fear of God's punishment is a mirror of the intelligent and wise person. It is God who decides the fate of the life of man, in this world and in the Hereafter.

We will strive to keep his commandments, and avoid His prohibitions. In the field of business, this asthma application will raise fears if there is illicit sustenance eaten or there is a usury transaction done.

Fear for God, Dare for God

Fear of God must be placed in the highest position so as to overcome all fears of other than Him. Not afraid of poverty and not afraid to be demoted as long as it is trust. Showing fear only to God has an impact on the growing courage in living life and establishing the truth. This courage will deliver man into noble and honorable persons before beings, especially before Him. The businessman who believes al-Muntaqim dares to do business honestly and fairly, because he is more worried about being tortured by God than hated by the organizers of unscrupulous fraudulent tenders.

Foundation of Attitude and Mental

• Make the threat of God as a whip to always improve and encourage doing praiseworthy deeds.

• Fear of God becomes a source of strength not to be afraid to live life, namely:

• Do not be afraid of poverty while making a living on the lawful path.

• Not afraid of losing office while running it in a trust.

• Not afraid to be eliminated during Istiqomah in truth.

• Not afraid of dying while defending His teachings.
