Devoted to the parents that Allah commands us is the wealth of millions of wealth. The love, blessing, and pleasure of Allah SWT is a very wide to come paradise. Both parents are the cause of our existence. They are the two who have brought us to live in the world. They are both tireless in caring for, educating, and caring for us.

There are three deeds that Allah (SWT) loves, namely prayer on time, filial devotion to both parents, and jihad in the way of Allah SWT. Being devoted to parents is a beautiful way to get to heaven. Don't expect to go to heaven if we disobey them both. Let alone enter paradise the smell of heaven alone is not given to the disobedient to the elderly.

Allah said, "And We commanded to all humans (to do good) to his two fathers; Her mother had conceived her in a weakened state, and weaned her off in two years. Give thanks to Me and to your two mothers and fathers, only to Me will you return." (QS. Luqman 14)

And in another surah, " Allah has commanded you not to worship anything other than Him, and you should do the best good to your mother. If one of them or both of them is old in your care, then do not say to them the "ah" and do not snapping at them and speak to them a glorious word." Al Isra: 23)

There are several reasons why we are commanded to be devoted to both parents. First, the mother who has conceived us until we were born in the world. Endure suffering, be patient in containing us. Second, the mother who has been breastfeeding us for two years. It is the mother who plays an important role in caring for, educating and caring for us.

Umar bin Al-Khattab said, "If anyone succeeds and succeeds then look at two things. Who is the mother who gave birth and who is her wife?" Motherhood is the first madrassa for our children. And in the mother's milk contained some substances needed by her child as immunity and prevent the arrival of disease. In this regard Allah (SWT) said, "The mother of the objects nourishes her children for two whole years, that is, for those who want to perfect their breastfeeding" (QS. Al Baqarah: 233).

And the wisdom of breastfeeding for these two years is to regulate the number of births of children in each family. And in this verse, it is general, both parents who are Muslim and non-Muslim. Means Children should remain devoted to both parents even if their parents are non-Muslim. Third, because both have poured out love to the child in totality. Fourth, the child. It is the heart and heart of both parents. The Prophet said, "Fatimah It's part of my flesh and blood. If there is something wrong with it, I also feel pain."
