On August 19^th, 2022, MA Al-Irtiqo' IIBS Malang held a monthly event namely Guest Teacher Program (GTP). That time, MA Al Irtiqo’ invited a keynote speaker, namely Ahmad Fayaz Naziry who came from Afghanistan, and has been living in Indonesia for 3 years studying Indonesian Language in the University of Muhammadiyah  Malang (UMM).

Naziry explained about the situations in Afganistan these days and at the time before he left for Indonesia. "Education in Afghanistan is very deplorable," said Naziry telling us at the GTP event.

There are several types of schools in Afganistan including Islamic, Modern, and Technical schools. The education there was very good before he left for Indonesia to continue his education to a higher level at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM).

"After I arrived in Indonesia two years ago, there was a war between the official Afghan government forces and the Taliban, which caused the buildings and places to study there to be destroyed because of the war, and most of the lecturers there mostly moved to other countries so that education in Afghanistan was getting decreased and it was very difficult to study for students in Afghanistan" Ahmad Fayyaz Naziry told us.
