As a response to the need for Al-Qur’an at Syai-urrifa Foundation in Malang, Ariosan Foundation distributed Al-Qur’an for free to students in Syai-urrifa foundation which is located in saxophone, Lowok waru, Malang. The total number of Qur’an distributed were 50. This program aimed to allow recipients to carry out regular tilawah (Qur’an reading).
The direct merit from Allah by reading the Qur’an may stop after we stop reading the Qur’an, but not with the merit of sadaqah jariyah or waqf. The reward will be continuously flowing even though the exact charity event is over. Imagine how much influence it will give, and how much kindness it affects, and how much reward we will receive in the side of Allah. He, The Almighty Himself says in Al-Baqara 2:261:
مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنۢبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِى كُلِّ سُنۢبُلَةٍ مِّا۟ئَةُ حَبَّةٍ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُضَٰعِفُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and knowing.
