Tourism MSME Readiness to Rise onCovid-19 Pandemic

Based on the Creative Economy Marketing data of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the period of January - October 2020 foreign tourist visits during the Covid 19 pandemic dropped 72.35% compared to the same period 2019.
There were layoffs (PHK) of 1.5 million people, of whom 1.24 million were formal workers and 265 thousand were informal. As many as 6,000 occupancy hotels fell by 60%.
YuanaRohmah argued that to withstand the decline in the number of tourist visits and to regain the activity in the tourism sector, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy implemented various strategies without overriding health protocols.
"We at the Ministry of Tourism are improving, how to make travel safe, one of which is the Indonesia Care program, in which we certify tourism and restaurant actors," he said.
The certification includes Clean, Hygiene, Safety, and Environment (CHSE). With this certification, consumers will feel safer. This certification has already campaigned and around 10 thousand business actors have registered to obtain CHSE certification.
