The common intercession possessed by the Prophet, the Prophets, angels, and solihin (righteous). There are three types:

1. Intercession in humans who have gone to hell to be removed from it. Based on the Hadith of the Muslim narration of Abu Said Al-Khudri (summary): That is: by Allah, the Dzat whose soul is in His hands, you are so persistent in asking Allah to fight for the right for his brothers who are in hell on the Day of Resurrection. They begged: O our Lord, those (who live in hell) have fasted with us, prayed, and hajj. He replied, "Get out of hell those you know." Until their faces were forbidden to be burned by the fire of hell. These believers took out many of his brothers who had been burned in hell.

Angels have interceded, and prophets have interceded, and believers have interceded, and there is nothing left but Arhamurrahimin (the Most Merciful of those who show his affection). Therefore God will hold a handful from the fire of hell, bringing out those who have never done any good deeds.

2. Intercession in humans who deserve to go to hell not to enter. Based on the hadith of Muslim history: That is: A Muslim who dies, then his body is mourned by forty people who do not support Allah in the slightest, Allah will intercede for him.

3. Intercession in a man of faith who from his deeds deserves to go to heaven by increasing his degree in heaven. Based on the hadith of Muslim history, the Prophet prayed for Abu Salamah, the Prophet prayed:

O Allah forgive Abu Salamah, raise his blessing with those who are guided, replace it for the families left behind. Forgive us and he, O Lord of hosts, expand his grave and light him in the grave.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلٰى اٰلِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma sholli ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala Ali Sayyidina Muhammad.
